Description: The project was aimed at investigating the following issues:
- theory and empirical evidence on the impact of human capital on economic growth
- human capital, regional growth and convergence in Poland
- spatial effects of human capital
- changes in education accessibility cross social strata in Poland
- creation and absorption of human capital by academic cities
- role of education in the economic transformation
The outcomes of the research have been included in the book “Education as a factor and product of regional development. The experience of Poland in the international perspective”, Scholar, Warszawa 2012 [in Polish].
