Academic Profile 
Piotr Miszczuk graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting (2018), and he holds a Master's degree in English Studies at the University of Warsaw (2022). He is currently studying at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw, where under the supervision of Prof. Maciej Smętkowski he is working on his doctoral dissertation entitled "The evolution of factors behind the residential location of small-business owners in metropolitan areas: evidence from Warsaw" within the discipline of Socio-economic Geography and Spatial Management.

During his professional career, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for a brief time and for nearly 5 years he was employed as a journalist in the English Section of Polish Radio External Service, where he conducted interviews, covered events, and hosted live shows. In the years 2022-2023, he was employed at the Science Studies Laboratory at the University of Warsaw, where he researched the phenomenon of flight shame. He is currently a scholarship holder at EUROREG in the NCN project "The postsocialist city in the era of metropolization: transformations of the social space of 21st century Warsaw."

For many years, he has been an active member of the academic community; vice-chairman and chairman of the Student Research Group of Finance and Macroeconomics at the Warsaw School of Economics (2016/17 and 2017/18), deputy editor-in-chief of the Second Thoughts magazine (2021-2023), and a member of The Cheerful Hamlets theatre (2018-present) operating within the Institute of English Studies at the University of Warsaw. He has also participated in numerous international initiatives, including volunteering during the NATO summit in Warsaw (2016), participating in a study trip to Brussels within the Eurostaż program (2016), and being a member of the British-Polish Investment Alliance group (2018).
