Miejskie szlaki pamięci
Abstrakt
Tekst ten przedstawia przestrzeń miejską z perspektywy kilku szlaków pamięci istniejących w Warszawie i Krakowie. Punktem wyjścia dla autorów stało się badanie charakteru i roli warszawskich oraz krakowskich pomników. Analizie poddane zostały materialne i symboliczne "ścieżki pamięci" w obu miastach, a główne pytania badawcze dotyczyły obszarów tematycznych, elementów tworzących poszczególne szlaki oraz ich wpływu na przestrzeń miejską.
Abstract
This paper presents the urban space from the perspective of "memory traces" functioning in Warsaw and Krakow. The authors analyzed the nature of these traces and their elements - monuments and other places of historical meaning, and the roles they play in the cities and the social memory of their inhabitants - both in their material and symbolic meanings. The research concentrated on the themes of the "memory traces", their elements and influence on the cities" spaces.
